I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice - I rescued milo over a year ago she is now approx 18mths old. I recently visited my local rescue centre and ended up adopting a kitten who is now 10 weeks old. they have been in the house now for two weeks and i dont know whether im expecting to much but milo doesnt seem very happy - she has a cat flap and comes and goes when she likes (she loves the outdoors) but always spent the night on my bed but for the last week she has spent most of her time outside she omes in for meals and a cuddle but thats about it, she is extremley timid and im worried they will never get on. They have met a few times with milo sat on the fridge eating chicken and bella the kitten on the floor crying at milo wanting to play - milo will growl and hiss but wont come down off the fridge until bella is out of the room - can anyone please give me some advice as i dont want to lose bella
many thanks

Did you introduce them slowly - give the new kitten a safe place in a room AWAY from Milo. Then take some things of each of them and give them to each of them so they can get used to each other's smells. And maybe after a week - or 4-5 days (Really depends on the cats) - let them see one another. There are many articles on this that explain it better than I. It takes time!!
