I have three kittens, all are about 14 weeks of age. Last week the runt weighed in at the vet at 2 lbs, 4 oz. This week he is 3 lbs. the long haired orange tabby male weighed in last week at 2 lbs 14 oz, this week he is weighing 3 lbs 12 oz. Are they gaining to fast? I have their food bowl filled with Nutro kitten all day long. Since there are three of them, and I am not home all day, I can't figure out how to limit the food intake without putting them all in separate rooms all day

No... they will eat as they need. I free feed my babies, too. They are just growing kittens, and they will gain weight fast. At the vet, yesterday, one lady commented how her puppy was gaining 10 lbs every 2 weeks, and she was worried, but he's just growing..... it's completely normal!

What is it with Nutro Kitten?? My kitten, who is 4 months old and SHOULD be starting slightly level out a little bit as far as weight gain put on about 6 ounces in less than a week!
