Headbutts - Are they as intense for you?

I came home and Angel came up to me,

as he usually does, so I knelt down to him, as I usually do, and suddenly he headbutts my eyeball and s-l-o-w-l-y rubbed his side of his head near his ear across my eye.

I swear there was so much loving emotion and sincerity behind that headbutt that I, literally, almost cried.

His unconditional love is so intense.

I love you, my Angel.

Awww! I miss headbutts! These 2 havn't started giving me them yet but they do sleep in my lap or whever they decide to sit on top of me. It is very sweet to feel thier loving trust.

Yes, I love it when my guys headbutt me, too (except for Henry, who doesn't headbutt).

sara has just recently started getting really affectionate with the headbutts and then she will lean on me and then slide down me and lay there on her back to get her belly rubbed

Aww, I envy you. My babies give me loving headbutts but they don't last very long. They're like 2 rubs on my nose and head and that's it.

I used to have a cat named Misty that always gave me head butts. It was always really touching because that was the only form of loving she ever gave us...she was very withdrawn for the most part..from former abusive owners. Rest in peace "Bud"

Kitter's doesn't headbutt but she does give kisses!!! I saw my neighbors cat give her headbutts and it looks lovely!!!! I'm jealous of all of you!!!

Oscar does it when he really misses us or if I sleep on the couch, I get them (hard headbutts, at that) at night. Other than that he's not too affectionate.....sadly

I love headbutts too. Princess almost never does it, Orei does ALL the time. It makes me feel so special.

Headbutts are wonderful

I got woken up at 3am this morning by my two piling on my head and both headbutting and purring for all they're worth!! I know they're just telling me they love me, but I wish they'd do it at a more sociable hour!

Oh I miss headbutts! The only thing my cats headbutt is the food bag.

I'm thinking of dressing up as a big cat food bag.

Awwwww i loan everyone who doesn't get them Rosie or Sophie because they give whoppers!, especially Rosie

I LOVE headbutts!

All 4 of mine give headbutts, but it seems especially when they want something! LOL

They're the best thing ever and one of those unique things about cats - like their purr - that just makes them the best animals in the world.
