1st ever Cat Council (For cats only)

HELP ME...DESPERATE SITUATION...

I'm SO mad right now . I just overheard my meowmy say that I had an appointment at the V-E-T on Saturday morning. How stupid does she think I am?!?!? I KNOW that that spells vet!!

I just KNOW that she's going to make me go! She'll put me in that awful carrier and drag me in that horrible place with all the dogs! Then they'll pull me out and poke and prod at me. They'll give me a SHOT and take me in the back to DRAW BLOOD!!

Sure, she SAYS it's all for my own good, and acts like she's sorry to make me go, but I KNOW she just does it to torture me. She doesn't even CARE that I won't speak to her for days afterwards!!! She thinks she can buy me off with extra treats and catnip!

You guys have to help me. How can I get out of this?? If I try to hide under the bed she'll just shake a plastic bag under there until I can't stand it anymore and run out. HELP ME!!!

First of all, wen you heer the carrier being browt from its hiding place, you find a hiding place of your own.

If they finds you then you have got to fite wit all your mite to stay out of the carrier. Grab the sides so they cant shuve you in. If you not in the carrier, they cant take you to the vet place. Yell at them, hiss at them, shows your sharp teefs to them.

Those all grate idees Luzeee, I like to add that you COULD PEE AND POOP on the floor and in the carrier when they catches you and tries to shove you in! I think that should work pretty good! Good luck, jasper and tia

am i the only one but i really like the carry cage, it gives me a nice place to sleep which is my favourite thing apart from eating of course.........MMMMMMM

You ged a big box and put water and fud and litter and a blankey in it and rite Deliver to Abu Dhabi on it and get in it an hide.

I starting to feel a little depressed. I just heard the vet call and leave a message on the answering machine reminding Meowmy about my appointment. I'm going to go poke the erase button and maybe she'll forget about it. They said my appointment is at 9:00 tomorrow morning. Don't they understand that that's my nap time?

No, Tailer and Forest both like to get in the carrier. Meowmy thinks she's really smart and takes it out from time to time when we don't even have to go anywhere. She lets them sleep and play in it. Then, when they really DO have to go they just get in there and she locks them up. They get mad when she locks them in, but it's too late. They're so stupid...they can't even type. I'd never fall for that.

I move that we address the deplorable lack of life mousies in our howses. There would be fewer "fluffy" kats aroun if we all had life mousies to chaze.

Rufus, I second your motion. There are three of us in this house, and only a very, very occasional live mouse. When one does get in here, Tailer always catches it and kills it before either one of us have a chance!! We definitely need to get our owners to supply more live mice!

On another note, I am sad to report that I lost my battle on Saturday morning. Even though I deleted the voice message, Meowmy remembered the vet appointment. I hid as far as I could under the bed, and refused to come out. I even stayed there when Meowmy nudged me with a stick and when she shook a plastic bag under the bed. It was no use, though...she got Pawpa to come and move the bed.

We had to wait a very, very long time at the vet. I think they torture dogs the dogs that come there, too, because I could hear them all barking. They gave me a shot and made me pee and poked me to get blood. It was awful. I didn't speak to Meowmy until 3:00 this morning. She was so sad, I just had to forgive her. I nudged her awake to tell her so. I could tell she slept much more peacefully afterwards.

I agree, Rufus. I need to show my mommy my hunting prowess. She thinks it's so cute when I bring her my furry mouse, but she doesn't realize that I'm trying to tell her that if there were a real mouse in the house, I'd be the cat for the job!!! But, how do we convince them to get us some real mice? How do we get real mice to come in our house?? We live near fields, and Mommy is always saying about this time of year that Daddy needs to start buying traps to put down in the basement 'cause it'll be fall soon. Why does Mommy think we need traps for??? She already has me!!

okay, except my mommy don't use credit cards anymore. She and Daddy got themselves into such trouble with them.....I don't know what kind of trouble, except we cats were forced to eat the store brand kibble....yuck!!!
Would one of you kitties, after you steal....errr borrow the credit card, can you order some extra mice for me?

psst... It's Kitter's. I got her just as soon as I could. Had to do it when Daddy wasn't lookin' He's always on his computer in the corner. I sit it mommys chair a lot and type when he's looking at his own puter! First let me catch up on some of the things here. Lukey, I don't think you're too fluffy. You should just eat what you want, steal your daddy's tatoe chips when hims not lookin'. My mommy is trying to make me fat! Can you believe that. She thinks I'm too "skinny", I'm just right. I want to be on the cover of PlayKitty someday you know! She keeps feeding me this Meow Mix stuff in a pouch, which is awfully hard to resist. It's quite yummy. Came with real shrimps and real fishy. I am doing my best to keep my figure though. Harvey, don't be too scared! I'll be thinking about you. I keep hearing mommy and daddy talking that I have to go back to that place again and get more shots! I don't mind the nice ladies there, they said I have pretty eyes! But I get so scared riding in that blue thing that goes zoom zoom. I think mommy's going to throw me away! These really mean guys did that to me when I was just a baby. Me and my mommy. I haven't seen her since. Anyway, just know it will be over soom Harvey! Bridgey, you sound just like your mumma being hungry all the time! That's so cute!


I have a few complaints of my own too. Mommy is really nice and talks to me and let's me come in the room where she sits sometimes. Daddy doesn't let me in there with him, but I don't like it cuz he makes it stinky anyways!!!!
Daddy also makes me dance sometimes. I don't like that at all. Mommy tried to help me and tells daddy to stop, but he don't quit till the songs over. I love sleep on daddys legs though. Thats great! One thing I don't like about mommy is that she did take me to the vet and made them cut me open! I will give it to her that I feel better now! But it was not fun at all and I was scared being away from home. That's it for now!

I will be here for the meeting, just let me know when. I will bring some of that yummy food mommy keeps giving me so she'll think I ate it, (Don't tell her!) ya'll will like it. I also bring my baby for us to play with, he's a purple hippo, great fun to practice killing skills! Ok, I gotta go run through the house now so they don't suspect that I was on here!!

I'm a growing boy and My meowmy Lue says I need more food than what Meowmy Jan gives me. But I look good and Jan does give me treats. But I guess one day I might have to go on that dreaded diet when I am older.

As for mousies? I catch my own. But there aren't enough here to send to all the kitties. I hear there are places you can custom order mousies! Yeah! Meowmy read an article about a place that breeds them special for places called "laboratories". Maybe we can find that place?

I'm gonna try to steal one of those credit card things tonight when Meowmy gets home and order a whole bunch of mousies with it tomorrow when she's at work. It'll serve her right for making me go to the vet!
