sucking sucks!

My fiance adopted a four month old cat from a rescue society. Since he can't have cats he has been living with me. It's hard enough dealing with trying socialize him with my 10 month old female, but now at night time he sucks on my neck and chews on my hair while I'm sleeping. How can I put a stop to this and why is he doing it? It is so annoying trying to explain to people why I have sores on my neck. Please Help!

Mine used to do that up until he was 5 months old. He outgrew it.

He was taken from his mom too soon and he feels attached to you.

Bijou suckles me every night before bed, but I don't have any marks from it. Guess your kitty has a better vacuum! LOL

Bitter apple applied to the area works, so does lemon juice added to your hand lotion-
