Sorry I infected everyone with a contagious chocolate chip cookie dough and ice cream craving
. I pigged out on some today (I do usually *try* not to pig out). I don't feel guilty about it, though. I put in a good workout today and I've been doing "contractor type work" to the house all day. I've burned enough calories to allow myself a little indulgence (ok---so I had a BIG indulgence). Hope everyone satisfied their sweet tooth.

Just a few spoonfuls, Ryan? Heck I used to buy that stuff all the time just to eat; the dough never got near a cookie sheet!

Kelly, I'm going to try your idea; I love cookie dough ice cream and agree that there's just not enough cookie dough in it!

I don't believe that for a second. We've seen pics of Shy. He stays in good shape, so he must be able to take a few for the team.

Oh man Kelly, you're pretty creative when it comes to the cookin'
. If you didn't feel like going through all that effort, get one of the new cookie dough ice creams from Sonics. They are LOADED with cookie dough. I love cookie dough ice cream, but this has waaaaaay too much cookie dough, even for me- should be perfect for you Kel

If anyone likes cookie dough but likes their ice cream a bit eclectic, try Cookies Cookies Cookies by BlueBell. It is a mixture of cookie dough, chocolate chip, and oatmal raisin ice creams. It is fan-freakin'-tastic!

Then I pressed it all down and refroze it.
Wow, it's incredible--you gotta try it!!!! I think next time I'll mix the cookie dough with CHOCOLATE ice cream. YUMMmmmmy.
oh no, that would be wayyyyyy to sweet for me and i'm trying to stay a size 10 (7 US?)

i think cookie dough is an American thing, it's not heard or that much in Australia, you can buy the dough here, i have tryed a fingerful but even that was too much!

i think i'll stick with a trifle with a dash of sherry or apple pie and cream

my biggest weakness that i might eat once a month is pecan pie...yum!

I will have plenty on hand! Methinks you'll love it! I find it most often in Shell gas stations, though Kroger recently started carrying it here as well

Mmmm sounds good, Gail. We don't have any Papa Murphy's here

There's a local pizza chain here that has a chocolate chip dessert pizza that they serve a bit underdone, while it's still gooey.
It's sooooo good if you get it when they first get it out of the oven. I take a bite and then take a drink of milk to cool it off while it's in my mouth

I've got some of that in my freezer right now. It is fan-freakin'-tastic!!

When I lived in Texas, I don't think they sold Bluebell outside of the state. A week after I moved to Kansas City, they started advertising it here and I noticed it is in more parts of the country of late. When we were in Puerto Vallarta on vacation in April, there was an ice cream store that was selling it.

So.....keep your eye out for Bluebell brands. I prefer them over Ben & Jerry's, Hagendas and all the other big brands.
