I am pretty inexperienced with mom cats and newborns, my foster cat is a very sweet girl, and a devoted mom, but twice now I have seen her grab a kitten like it is a mouse or something, or a catnip toy! They dont seem hurt, but why does she do this? Is it normal? The kittens are now 2 weeks old,doing great and starting to play. Tonight one climbed out of the basket!
