When Meish cleans herself she ends up licking the flea colar.... should I worry?

personally I would not use over counter flea treatments - they are to dangerous. I only get them through my vet - in my case Advantage!!

I originally tried a flea collar on Oliver and it seemed to really irritate him - all he did was scratch it
... I've since switched to the liquid type of treatment that's applied on the back of the neck so he's less likely to be able to reach it when he's grooming...

Please don't use flea collars- they can be and are quite toxic to cats. use advantage or fronline instead bought from your vet.

I took the flea colar off last night. I searched her high and low for any case of fleas (why hubby put it on her I have no idea).... I think she just gets a case of the itchies every now and then. I threw the colar away.
