Hi I have 3 cats all just under a year old.

They arent particularly keen on tinned cat food and the dry food isnt filling enough for them.

I have tried tinned Tuna, they get bored of it after a while, I have tried packed Ham which they seem to like for only a little while, and I have tried cooked sausages which only one of them liked!

I am running out of options it seems.

I would be greatful if anyone could recommened anything that all 3 could eat happily and not be hungary straight after eating!

Thanks

Sarah

PS I am in the UK

How do you feed them? Do you provide set meals? Do you free feed? Which dry food do you use?

First of all cats are grassers, they eat a little all day long! also since they are so young let them eat as much as they want they need it grow.

They quality of kitten food you use can also make a big difference!!

If you are not already, try free feeding them the dry food - meaning leaving a bowl full down 24/7. That gives them access when the need and won't be begging for food!!

Sarah-

Hi, switching foods usually means you are developing finicky eaters. In nature, these cats would be eating the same things over and over again- rodents, bugs, lizards, never tiring of the delicacies before them. It is humans that believe that cats need variety and change, once you find a food they will eat, stick with it- buy both QUALITY canned and dry food, and be sure your cats have exercise, plenty of water and mental stimulation. If all they do is for instance, lay around the house and not get challenged, they will get lazy and not want to eat much of anything. Tuna (contrary to popular belief) is not good for cats, nor is seafood really. Unless you have an island cat, they could care less about fish-

Hi

I feed them in the morning and leave it down all day for them to go to at anytime throughout the day, then I put fresh down in the evening and its there throught the night for them.

Only two of them actually eat the dry food so I couldnt just give all3 that as one would be going without.

The quality I feed them is considered the best on the market and they went off it after a while, hence my changing the food around.

Sarah try Marks and Spencers "Luxury" tinned cat food.

Rosie and Sophie love the sardine and the tuna ones and their in a lobster jelly.

Rosie is very picky but this one she'll polish off, and i swear if there was a pattern on their food bowls Sophie would lick hers off!

Hi

My cats never become bored as me and parter are home all day they get all the playtime they could need.

I did stick which a specific food that they all liked for a long time but then they just went off it, hence my situation now.

I will no longer feed them Tuna after hearing its bad for them, never realised that.

How much is it per tin and can you buy it in bulk at a lower cost?

The reason I ask is I have always heard that M & S are considered expensive.

It's 45p for a tin and the size is about the same size as a large can of salmon?!. Not sure if you could buy it in bulk either?!

They only get the wet food once a day because they have the Purina One Balanced kibbles.

Seriously though, they love it
