I just received and update email from Purina and they are bringing out a new range of Indoor Cat Biscuits.

They mentioned that cats that live indoors don't get the same nutients as cats that go outside! I was just wondering what nutrition they get from outside?

I understand that they get grass out there (but they get it indoors too)

Sorry if it's a silly question, but I am just interested to know!

When animals are outside their skin will produce vitamin D because of the sunlight (just like us humans, even though cats have a coat). Maybe there are ekstra vitamin D in these biscuits? Thats the only thing I can imagine that indoor cats dont get when they just stay indoor.

I asked my vet once about indoor cats need extra vitamins, but she said that wasnt nescesarry. So i dont know..Probably someone who wanna sell you these biscuits.
