I went to hastings last night at the book release party, and one of my friends had to work, and they all had to dress up so I did as well. I went as hermionie from prisioner of azkaban, in the pink sweatshirt with the front pocket and hood, a rainbow belt, light jeans, and brown shoes, my hair is naturally curly much like hers, and I wore a gold necklace for my time turner. Overall it was a simple costume that allowed me to walk around with out people pointing at me thinking I was a freak (other than wearing a sweatshirt in the middle of the summer). I even had a wand, I removed the part of a wooden hanger that opens and closes to keep the pants creased on them. It worked rather well. I was the first runner up. I won a gift certificate to hastings, so now, what to buy...........
