Isn't it great that you got a picture of all of them in one room!!!
I see an EXTRA bonus you didn't mention! You have a water cooler!
I wish I had one!

Yeah, with well water - we need one of them! With 11 birds, 2 humans and 4 cats - we go through about 7 bottles every 2 weeks.

I see you have a thing for black cats

I have a soft spot for the black ones too.
What species of birds do you have?

How cool that you have all black cats! They're gorgeous!
(As is the bird
). I have a hard time getting pics of all four of mine together, too!

We have 11 parrots (names in siggy) They are:

Budgie (common parakeet)
Parrotlet
Peach Face Lovebird
Grey Cheek Parakeet
Sun Conure
Timneh African Grey
Congo African Grey
Mexican Red Head Amazon
Double Yellow Head Amazon
Umbrella Cockatoo
Blue and Gold Macaw

The green bird you see in the picture is the grey cheek parakeet, the sun conure is in the black cage beside him.

A few of my favorites in that list

I have a Quaker and a Hahn's (my Murphy).
My Quaker is spiteful and ornery, and we love each other to pieces.
I hear B&G and Hahns have similar personalities.
My Hahn's isn't much on talking, but he loves kisses and showing off, and cuddling on me while sucking his thumb.

Great pic of the kitties! I LOVE black cats! Seeing that many at once made me smile.

Also, I would love to get a parrot and/or parakeet someday (love Greys!). How do they interact with the cats? I'm a little apprehensive about adding a few birds into the mix, but perhaps if you introduce from kittenhood it would work out well..

Greys are my favorite too (shh, don't tell the others!) My suggestion would be to get a bigger bird (african grey size or larger) - usually the cats don't want to mess with them - because they fight back.
The smaller onces really have to be watch closely with the cats - right now I feel very comfy with the cats and the smaller birds - I know which w\\ones can't be trusted together and which ones I don't worry about as much. I still will not leave any birds out unsupervised - not only because of the cats, but because of the "woodworking" the bigger one like to do.

Two of my cats were kittens when I got them and two were adults. Truly it didn't make much difference. Really depends on the birds and the cats.

Thanks, Tracey.
That's good to know... I may get a Grey yet.
