I Feel So Stupid!!!!

Ok, internet went off about an two hours ago(right after i made some breakfast). I spend over one hour tryn to get ahold of tech service, finally they answer and we going through this long process of retoring, restarting , reseting stuff.

(we have COX cable internet(just switched from SBC DSL))This guy I was talking too really needed to go to speech school, he can get you to sleep in less than 5 mins.

Ok to the point, he tells me to hang up so he can send a reset signal to the modem(external modem). So after a few minutes i noticed that the modem was pluged into a surge protector that was well hidden to the plug in that I UNPLUGED to plug in the toaster. HOW BLONDE, huh. So all that waiting for nothing.

Naw, you were just hungry, & have been having stomach pain!! Besides, maybe your call helped the tech service guy feel really useful, and maybe the number of calls the company receives helps insure that this guy won't get laid off! But I wonder what response he got on his end when he tried to send the reset signal... ON another note, those orange tabbies are TOO Cute - I want them soo badly - I love orange tiger cats, but God hasnt' sent any my way for years now...of course, I love kitties of all colors...Susan

I have one 4 wk old tabby kitten i found in a dumpster a few days ago 7 others were there too but didnt make it. Vet checked it over and gave me some milk and bottle for him. She had a small gash on his side but he said nothing to worry about.

Oh my gosh, I did the SAME thing last week! I kept getting error messages when trying to access websites, so I assumed the internet was down and called my ISP - they checked and said that my modem was fine, but didn't seem to be connected to my computer - so I checked and sure enough, my ethernet cable was not plugged in! So embarrassing, so I sympathise!

no not yet, he is getting sickish so im going to take him to the vet(I got a job so cash is good now) I went around the dumpster to find anymore i might have over looked and a woman came out of he backyard and gave me a cat(speaking spanish to me) talking in a fast pace and seemed pissed at me. I called the police and reported her. It was the mommy cat, but she is in worse shape than baby. she looks abused wont nurse baby.

Oh Ashley, I'm so glad your taking mom and baby to the vet. Shame on her real owner. People like that make me want to get violent!

I found a little female last year that was perhaps 6 mos old taped in a box that had been tossed in a dumpster. I figure it was kids being cruel cause except for being scared and PO'ed she was fine. I would have cheerfully killede the kids if I knew who thery were.

Oh, what an ugly world we live in. I love the pic of the babies, too. And am very sorry for that poor Momma cat to have been so mistreated! And poor little baby...bless you for taking on this challenge!

ITs okay ive had my blonde moments too.
I had my hands wet from just washing my hands and i plugged the australian heater into my australian plug... well i was lucky because not even 10 minutes later we smelled something weird my computer, heater, alarm clock werent on anymore because the whole australian plug thing had broken.
(you know how we have different plugs around the world?)

well i ended up getting my last one from my mothers lets see how long this will last. If this one breaks i will have to convert everything into german

Bad news about the cats, the mother was bleeding internaly that she couldnt be helped.She was put to sleep. The kitten didnt make it to the vet, he was screaming and then nothing on the way up to the vet. The vet said he must have had a birth defect or the abuse the mother had taken while pregnant. The mothers uterus was smashed in, he said she was more likly kicked over and over again by its owner. So when I got back home I bravely dug up the dead kittens from the trash and looked them over and I could tell the necks had been broken. I called the police back and told them what I found. I hope she is put away for good. I bet the woman was about to dump the mother too.

Oh, Ashley! That poor, poor kitty! I hope that woman meets up with justice here on Earth, and on her deathbed, she remembers the faces of all those poor cats......Thank you for doing the macabre deed of digging up the rest of the kittens! did the vet write a report for you yet?? Did the police respond?? The entire town should picket this animal abuser - and everything & anything to discourage this behavior.

Those poor-poor kittys I think it should be legal to beat the crap out of people that do those kinds of things to animals.

Mind if I share my blonde moment to lighten up the mood?

We have an ADT security system and one day last week the thing was bleeping "low battery". So I called them from work but of course I had to be home for them to check the system. I got home and the system was dead. I called the technician and the first thing he asks is, "Did you check the plug?" That stupid thing has a plug? So I run out into the garage, follow the wires to where this thing is supposedly plugged in to, and voila(sp?), it's unplugged! What a dork Leah.

I wont know anything till monday, BUt the woman was arrested for throwingglass in the road. The vet is faxing it to the police.

Im just ... I cant find the words, I will let you guys know more when I do.

Oh no, that is so horrible. How could anyone be that evil? I hope that she is arrested, and I hope that she gets FAR more than the slap on the wrist animal abusers often get - as far as I am concerned they ought to lock her up and throw away the key. Thank you for caring about the cats enough to go to this trouble, you're a wonderful person to care about them.

I am so sorry you had to deal with this ugliness face to face. It is hard to believe anyone could be so evil. Maybe you could post this poor little cat family on the bridge board?

I can't imagine the pain you are feeling, to hold those tiny babies, and to try to save the one baby and Momma. They are at peace now, over the rainbow bridge, and will never feel pain ever again.
