Beautiful Australia
my husband and i went for a drive to a town close to ours for something to do and i took a few pics of the Australian outback, i thought i'd share

Here is a family of emu's that crossed the road in front of out car

we didn't see any roo's but i'm pretty sure this is a kangaroo print
maybe next time i'll find the real thing, haven't been many around lately.

An aborigini handprint we found at some caves called the granites.

Some photo's of the outback

Nassa.

And my husband

Loving my beautiful baby girl
What remarkable photos, Felicia! Thank you so much!

Can you just imagine being here in the US and needing to stop your car to allow a family of emus to cross the road!

tame one's can be, you can feed and pat them, there are some that hang around a caravan park in Exmouth and they stand outside the cabin, a few tried to get inside with me but i pushed them away
there was no room and emu poop is huge

the wild one's you would be lucky to get near and they can get defensive especially when they have eggs or chicks, they have been known to attack but it's pretty rare i think, i wouldn't risk it though.

i almost forgot, i snapped a few shots of a rare tree, native to Australia.

once it's fruit ripens you are set.

it's called a beerus getyouverydrunkus, also known as a beer tree

Thanks for sharing!
My dad actually grew up in the outback outside of Brisbane and used to hang with the kangaroos.
Also, hope you don't mind me saying, but your husband is a cutie... kinda looks like Nicolas Cage. Lucky you, Felicia!

i loved the beer tree too, i can't wait for it to mature though

i have seen a few echidna's but i didn't have a camera at the time, i always have my digital with me now so if i see another one i'll take a photo for sure, i think it might be a little too cold for them at the moment.
