I'm going up to Toronto next week (Wednesday thru Friday) for a business trip. I haven't been up there for 20 years and am anxious to see it again.

Any folks from Toronto out there and what's the weather like this time of year?

Do I need to practice my "oot and aboot's" before I go?

It's insanely hot right now (and has been all summer, so I'm guessing it will be next week, too) - today it was 99 fahrenheit with the humidex, blah. Really, really humid, and smoggy, too. Not really the nicest time to visit, actually (being outside any more than absolutely necessary is pretty unbearable right now, so if you plan to sightsee I'd plan indoor stuff), but I hope you enjoy it anyway!

Yeah, it's bloody hot... especially with the humidity.
I would bring an umbrella besides light clothing because it's supposed to rain, which we are in desperate need of. Good luck on your trip!
If I can be of any service, please feel free to PM me.

Yikes that is hot! It's been in the lower 90's here and that's bad enough for me.

There are about 8 of us going and our flight arrives early Wednesday evening. I don't know where we will be staying but will find that out on Monday. I'd ask about good restaurants but don't even know the direction that we go when we get there yet.
