Welcome to the site! Your kitty is just precious!

I'll move this to Health & Nutrition where you can get more advice about which kitten foods would be good for Jazmene.

I am a big fan of the Nutro Natural choice, but my cats have also enjoyed the samples of the Royal Canin foods.

I have a 4 year old male who eats Innova Evo and and 3 and a half month old female who eats Nutro Max Cat Kitten Formula for her dry food and Wellness kitten formula for her wet...all are very high quality foods...the Nutro is a little less expensive than the Evo and it seems to have all good ingredients for a developing kitten

I live in a small town and cant seem to find in good brands here. But I found one @ Wal- Mart. Its called Purina-One Kitten . It comes in a Green jug. It is formulated with DHA. And real chicken is the #1 ingredient. It costs about $6.00 for 4lbs. But my 6 babies
it.
Hope this helps.

I feed wet only to one cat and wet daily to the other...

for a kitten : look at Nutros natural choice , Royal canins baby cat , Premiums edges kitten all are great quality and reasonable pricing

for canned I use homade, nutro, natural balence, meow mix and authority

Wet food twice daily for adults, for kittens 3 times a day as much as they want to eat. Look for foods where the first ingredients are MEAT, not meat-by-products, and not carbs like corn, rice etc. carbs should be later on the list.

The only barely decent food you can buy in a grocery store is Iams. The rest is junk. Good foods in pet stores include:
Wellness
Ianova
Pet Guard
Triumph
Natural balance
Nutro
Spot's Stew among others.
But, no matter how good a food is, it doesnt do the cat or kitten any good if they don't eat it. So the first thing is, make sure they are eating their food. If they wont eat the good stuff, then get something else, and then slowly start adding in the better food.

Dry food should not be the primary source of calories.

At first you should continue to feed whatever the breeder is feeding the cat. Your breeder should send some food home with the kitten. If you want to switch to a new food then do it slowly-over a period of a week or two.

I totally agree. Start her on the same stuff she has been getting at her current home. Then slowly switch her to the new food (if you decide to change).

Some people also think a kitten should be older than 2 months to leave the momma. They like to keep them with their momcat for 12 weeks. Your baby is very cute, she has colors like my girl Festus!
