Fez is supposed to get nueterd this morning, i have to drop him off between 7-9. Anyway they told me not to let him eat or drink anything after midnight, and i totally forgot!! I just now woke up at 6am and i have to bring him in soon. He probly ate and drank at somepoint while i was sleeping. Am i gonna have to rescedule? I dont mind resceduling but i have already done that earlier this week. ugh, i feel dumb.

If you know approx how much he ate i would ring the vet and tell them just to make sure?!

I have no idea how much he ate or when he ate, when i woke up at 6 and remembered I secluded him in another room. I will call the Vet at 7 when they open. I knew about this appt. for a week, i am puppy sitting right now and i think i just got distracted. Hopefully it will be ok.

Ok i just talked to one of the girls at the vets office. She said it will be ok, but now im worried, b/c if it will be ok then why say dont eat at midnight?
She said by the time he actually has his surgery that he should be fine and he might just throw up after the surgery. Should i be worried?

As long as the vet is aware of the situation, try not and worry. They say no food or drink from midnight on to stop animals from being sick to their stomach after getting anesthesia-
