What are your favorite words?

What words make you happiest?

For me:

Love, warmth, happiness, fun, and of course, cats.

How about you?

Well, words that make me happiest are "thank you, you are so kind". Nothing beats the warm feeling you get when you help someone.

"The ______ is done and out of the oven"

of course, the best words to put in there are "Peanut butter cookies, Dutch apple pie, and Stuffed mushrooms"

my next favorite thing is usually in response to "where are we going?" when my mom and I were supposed to be going home and turned into town instead.

"Ice cream and cigarrettes"



We have this ice cream truck with the fancy little summer song on it that goes through town on fridays and they have all sorts of older, unique ice cream, and last time they came by I had no money and I told my mom how the song annoyed me because it was stuck in my head and kept reminding me of ice cream.

Oh, this is so easy for me to answer. I love the word "kitty"! I think it is the sweetest word ever! It's so fitting to cats and only a woman could have invented it. There's just something about the way women say it that can make me weak in the knees. I could never get tired of hearing it.

"Want some chocolate?"

"Meow, purrr, purrr." (Roughly translated: "I Love you." )

FOr me I think it's " Time to go home from work! It's Friday!"

Mom. I love being a Mom, and love when my kids call me Mom or Momma!

I love you! I can never hear those words to often!

Then there is a psychiatric term "neologism". Its the term for words made up by the mentally ill person. I'd like to meet the person who made up the word neologism!

I love the word meowmy. Whoever came up with that is pretty clever.

Like Ryan, I like the word kitty. It's especially cute when children say it.

After 40 years mine is still:

even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious....

I love the words "I love you" "Thank you" "Merci"(Thank you in French) "Kitten" "cat"

I like very much....`You've made my day'....but apart from that I like big long medical words that sound very cool as they roll off the tongue, like ankylosing spondylolisthesis, and laparascopic fundoplication, and subachromial decompression and ursodeoxycholic acid...ohhhh I could go on and on!!!

Oh, and for some reason I think the word `frog' is really, really cool.
