Wow, it truely is amazing how people will come together to help one member of a community. A local college student, formerly a local high school sports star was recently was diagnosed with a rare type of spinal cancer. Already, there have been charity dinners, bake sales, newspaper ads, all types of fundraisers to help him and his family pay off his medical bills. (His mom goes to our church, and raised him and his siblings all by herself) Isn't great how a whole community cares about the well-being of one person?
