Hi! I'm new with 2 new additions

Hello all! i'm glad I was able to find a site like this. anyway, I am kittenstree ( cause my new kittens like to climb up my pantlegs) and I love my kitties especially my 9-year old tuxedo cat nala. I am currently a struggling college student home for the summer and enjoying the company of my new additions. The kittens are both 5 weeks old and very rowdy. Although one has started showing aggression towards the other at the food bowl. Any ideas how I can stop this? thanks and I can't wait to get to know other people who care about their pets!

Sounds like normal kitten behavior. Do they eat from the same dish or do they each have their own plate?

Last summer I had 2 kittens and I had to give them each their own plate because one would growl at the other!

Hi I have a tuxcedo cat, too, 2 years old. Her name is Pearl. NO ideas on agression at the food bowl. I'm adding in a kitten and Pearl likes to eat her food so I keep it off the flor during the day and so far have stood guard when Brandy the little one wants to eat. Try feeding them separately. Maybe others have ideas, too. Shelley
