I love that it's so cool, I really need to make/get one myself mind if i copy your design????
Very nice about the litter box My cats insisted on throwning litter too!
I don't understand why?? so i got a box that has a hole to step in and all the sides are covered no more litter to clean up

I outsmarted them

Here... or There... Hmmm
Great job... Love all of your ideas!!!! One question I have with the hammock is, do they fall out of it, it looks very steep from the pictures!

Actually none of my cats/kittens have hung out in the hammock yet. You are right with the hammock hooked to the upper shelf, it does tend to be steep. They use it for easy access to the top shelf. I have released all of the hooks to let in drape to see if anyone will hang out in it.

Good job on your hard work and kitty look like they love it! One think I do want to mention and I hope you don't mind but being a cat tree manufacturer myself I have found out that any strings that are hanging off of things are dangerous!!!! Your cats can get caught up and strangle in them. Just a friendly word of caution.

Thanks for the warning. I'm thinking of using fabric covered elastic and velcro to hang the toys, as they like pulling at the toys and the elastic adds more fun, and the velcro allows for easy changing of what toys are out.

Would the use of velcro and fabric covered elastic make the cords safer?

Maybe a little but cords are just not a good idea. What you can do is make the cords a lot shorter. Not long enough for them to get wrapped around the cats neck. A few inches or so. That way they can still hang but not long enough to cause any harm.

Maybe if the strings on the toys were of a thicker rope like sisal or something thing, that way the rope would be thicker and harder to get around their neck (or worse) ingesting it and causing blockage.

I LOVE THE litter box and supply box. That is Classic. If you guys do start making them, I will definatly buy one from you. Maybe for future times you could add a scratching rope to a leg or 2 so they could stretch up and scratch. Other than that, awesome job!

Great suggestions.

I will keep you posted on the possibility of ordering one.
