Ok, another day, another thread, right?

Today is my day off, yay!
I have done nothing today, so far... slept in for a bit, surfed the internet, watched TV... I work all weekend so I have to take advantage of my days of and do nothing. And there aren't any big plans for today, which is always fun. If our dishwasher would get fixed, I could do dishes and then cook but maintenance stinks.

That's about it... boring huh?

Oh and tomorrow I get to turn in my two weeks notice at work...

As usual I'm sitting here at work doing nothing except message boarding and wishing I was at home with the Kits and the Muttlies.

I just brushed Dexter & Sadie. I got tons of fur off of them.
It is really hot right now & they are shedding like crazy.
It's fur storm time.

Ari, it's gonna feel so darned good to turn in that 2 weeks notice, isn't it? Yay for you!!

I'm just putting texture paint on the walls of my dining room and living room, to give it sort of a stucco appearance. It's gonna take me like a billion years cuz this room is pretty big. I swear, I've become freakin' Bob Vila since we moved into this house
Other than that, I've played yogurt lid frisbee with Sui and TCS'ed some.

Sitting at work being bored (what else is new.) I do get to leave work at 3:30 though so that I can meet my mom and sister at my house. We are doing a little girls night, probably going to just order in food and watch some t.v. The kitties will be excited, they love Auntie and Grandma

I would love to see pictures of some of the things you have done in your house. I need ideas for this house! I have a spot in the living room that I don't know what to do with. Soon I am going to post pictures asking for suggestions.

OK - what have I done today - Aaron got up at 4 to meet some people for gold and breakfast. I rolled out around 7. I've been to the drugstore, pet store, grocery store, and went for my walk. I went to my friends hosue and got the mail and watered her plants. I got home to get a desperate call from her. There was an unexpected death in her husband's family and can I go back to her house and bring some clothes to the dry cleaners for them both? Aaron is now back home, so in just a little bit, we will head to her house, try to find the clothes they need, go to the dry cleaners, and then maybe go out for a early dinner. Oh yea, in between I have been answerign questions via e-mail for people at the company I used to work. It's been a busy day so far!

"Working" as usual. Its a bummer that with the office closing we don't have to do two week notices but that give me an idea- we could do fun ones and give them to the bosses. I think they would think that would be funny. Now that its cooler than I thought I'm going to water a couple of the veg gardens (yes I have 2-I'm crazy) Do a bit of weeding/maintenance in one bed maybe only an hr. Might do a bit of painting on the garge to. DH has his stone fence class tonite from 6-8:30. Good thing its cooler. Almost done with a novel so I'll then have a cool beverage and finish the book!!

Went to work as per, at 12 noon we all stood outside for the countries 2 minute silence for the London bombings

Had a quiet afternoon, then off home for a coffee at my neighbours house who just got back from her family home of Cornwall.

Watched the news for most of the night and shed tears
Had tea, then watched more t.v. then came on here

Susan, I'm listening to the stand still on the news right now.

Well I only woke up about an hour ago and of course I have been surfing TCS. I just had breakfast, Vegemite on toast.

I'm going to surf a bit more then ring my Nana, have a shower and then do my cat chores.

Today I'm not up to much - going out with a friend tonight.

Have a good day everybody

Today wasn't so great. I had a few (haha) too many drinks last night at a company dinner and getting up this morning was Soooooooooo tough. There were so many people at work so there was nothing to do. I left early and visited my grandmother in the hospital. Now I am home and relaxing! Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Hope you all had a great day!

I've been working from home all week (I am lucky) cuz everyone I work with is in Orlando for a team mtg. I opt out because I don't wanna leave my cats and my daughter for 4 nights straight, ever again!

Today we slept in, ate pancakes (Again, 4th day in a row), watched cartoons, I painted a lil bit, cleaned a lil bit (cat puke trails in the hallway; poop wiped from butt in other hallway), talked to my neighbors for a tad, then went and got a pizza.

I did work 'a little' inbetween all the fun stuff, but not much. An otherwise very cool day cuz I got to spend it with my kid and my cats, with no bra on!!! I love working from home!!!

Being the major procrastinator that I am... I have waited until the last minute to start moving, cleaning and packing things

So i have been busy all day running around getting more boxes, and packing equipment, I have been moving furniture and boxing books, movies, and what-not.

Of course taking my frequent TCS breaks. I went to Taco Bell for lunch. Big mistake. Now I cant move. So i am waiting for my lunch to digest before I start working again.

I put the bra on the front of my car, finally. I just washed it a few days ago, so it is nice and shiny! It is so pretty! I
my car!

I am leaving in less than 2 weeks! I am so ready to go. So moving, cleaning, and packing will be what my days consist mostly of till then!

Have a good day everyone!

i couldnt go to sleep last night so i watched tv untill i dont know what time.. then i kept on being woken up from teufel, postman, toilet needs finally bf dragged me out of bed at 12. Then i was angry at my self because i got up that late. I had a shower, Ben was supposed to get me some bread to eat, but he stayed at the kiosk untill 1:30 i watched him for the last 30 mins and he still kept on chattering. So i just got dressed took my keys and marched down there and bltched, then he finally to me to the bakery and it was closed, so we went to another one and their quality was crap.
we got home i came on here for a bit, then cleaned the kitchen, got dressed and we left at around 4 pm we were supposed to go to the party, but he stayed at his mums untill 7! i was so mad! Then after all i was starving, so finally he took me to the döner store and i had a yummy salad with chips.
Then we went to the party and noone was home! we spent 30 mins looking for them and watched them swim, drink (not the 10 year old) and eat at the bbq. Right now they are camping by the river although their house is 2 minutes away!
Then we went to the petrol station to get ciggies for bf and cola and now we are finally home.
Teufel wasnt happy with us, he is still meowing his head off because we were out for so long!
