My Best Friend

I just can't explain how much I love this kitty. Chucky has been a part of my life for 8 years. I talk to him, cry on him, watch tv and read with him. I just want to show you how affectionate he is back with me. He loves to touch my face and when I hold him whether he is on my lap or laying beside me he loves to reach up and touch my face. That is how I know he loves me too.






I get emotional when I think someday I will lose him . I am not going to be able to handle this. He is everything to me. I love my chucky furbaby

Thank you. Oh he is such a wonderful kitty. I think he is very smart and protective of me too and I believe he knows all the other cats names very well too. I find if I happen to get after one of the others for doing something they arn't suppose to be doing, he will run after them and sort of bat at them to say " You listen to momma or else" You should see him .. Oh I love him so much. I know we shouldn't have our favorites but he surely is mine.

I know we shouldn't have favourites too, my favourites are my two girls in my signature Holly & Bridget.

Who is yours? I know I shouldn't ask but I love hearing all your stories so do tell

I think its the same way with having kids too. I love both my children very much but I am closer to my son then daughter. Well we all know how it goes anyway, daddies girl, mommies boy.. and Rory is my boy forsure. Even though he upset me dearly the other day. Its the same with my kitties, I never try to show how much closer I am to the other I try to show all of them the same amount of love and affection but my heart always goes back to my chucky.

I know what you mean about losing them because i've thought like that many times, especially with Rosie who does her party piece and chatters at the camera because i've never had a cat do that before.

Although i love both of them so much, Rosie was my first so she has to be my number one girl, but if anything happend to Sophie who is my love bug I'd be devastated

I'm hormonal so now i've filled up!

Wow he's huge! And gorgeous too! My old cat Tigger used to do that paw on face thing too, and didn't even get fed up when he ended up with kisses all over his toes

Chucky is lovely and he sure looks like he loves you too! I love it when they put their paws on your face... Guin does this a lot and I find it so tear jerking! hehe

Chucky is soooo beautiful! And huge! Baby Kitty puts his paws on my face, too..but usually it's to push me off him (he acts like he doesn't like affection but I know he does, mm hmm).

Val, Chucky is indeed a very special guy..........what a lovebug. I have come to the conclusion, when it comes time for all of us to say goodbye to our friends, we have to thank God for the time that we were blessed having them, and remember, that although they won't be with us in the physical sense anymore, they will always be in our hearts. The old saying, "It's better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all" is so true for me............

I know what you mean about getting emotional ath the thouhgt of losing him one day. I have had Fred for 17 years, and each day with him now is a gift.

Sounds like you have a wonderful buddy! I actually handle human deaths much better than I do with my pet animals. Some people find it odd that I could be more attached to a pet than a human. Maybe I am odd.

I frequently have toes in my nose and eyes.
