Now they can entertain all their male gecko friends in STYLE!!!!!

I wish I had a picture to show you but I need to get a digital camera :O

My lizards were overdue for a cage cleaning, adn I decided to put a bit of "style" into their 20 gallon tank. I put the "shag" carpeting (so ok, it was really just a bit of leftover fuzzy material from a sewing project) in their flintstones like rock home thing, proped it up on some paper cups (which I taped to the bottom of the tank, and covered in sand
Then I took their "deck area" (which is just a manger I happened to find at a dime store, it has a ladder and platform, I had their water in it but moved it now) and I mangled a really fuzzy scarf and cut two peices out and made hammocks for them on the inside where the baby jesus and stuff would go
and I even spent an hour ravaging about thirty or so ant homes outside to get some nice, fine silky sand (which I filtered about three times) Oh yeah. They also have this peice of corkwood which I payed 20 bucks for and looks like an aligator head :O tis coolness. Its just like if they were back in afghanistan (which is where Leopart geckos live, though mine werent wild)

It's sha-weet.

Now all they need is a little disco ball, some chocolate covered ants, and some males to entertain!

Woot. If you were a lizard, you would want to live with me. I spoil the crap out of them like I do my cats (to a point anyways) I would have bought this calcium sand for them (that breaks down so they dont get it stuck in their gut like larger sand) but its like fifteen bucks a bag and it takes four bags to fill my lizards tank to the right height. :O Not to mention it needs to be changed every three months.

I'm not worried about them eating the sand either as I feed them outside their cage and the sand is really fine. (easier to make sure Oz gets food, because she is mentally retarded *seriously, from inbreeding* and is a bit slow at the food getting thing.)

Tell us about what other pets you may have besides your cats or your dogs!!!
