For those that have read "The Hot Zone" By Richard Preston...

For those that have read "The Hot Zone" By Richard Preston, how many of you thought "EBOLA!" when it was said that Brad Pitt was in the hospital for "flu like sypmtoms" after returning from Africa? I know I did!

How many have read that book? I found it very interesting... the first chapter had me shaking in my boots, but from then on, I couldn't put it down!

If you haven't read this book, you should! It's about the Ebola outbreak, and the Marburg virus. It's an awesome book!

I read it in Junior High. We had to get permission slips from our parents saying it was ok for us to read it in class. A lot of kids were grossed out by the graphic descriptions but I found it very interesting too.

Yeah... it was MAJORLY gross (especially the first chapter), but too good to put down.

I liked that book! It was pretty scary- especially about it happening in a lab in America- if I've got the right book!

i thought it was a great book, but was a little apprehensive about reading it since i'm easily grossed out. once i got past the first couple of chapters, it was really hard to stop.

Yep, it happened in Reston Virginia, in a monkey quarantine lab. You got the right one.... the one that gave you nightmares for the first two chapters, right?
