It's time! My kits are up for sale! First bid takes them! I'm sure your all asking yourself, Susie, GIVE UP TTP??? What in the world could they have done to make her want to get rid of them!???? WELLLLLLLLL,
My three little darlings were doing their normal "indy 500" race through the house, and this time decided to take another route. They zipped up over the end table and broke one of my grandmother's lamps!! GRRRRRRRR

Oh how can something be so cute and be so destructive?????

Sorry about your grandmom's lamp.
My (RB
) kitty Blackie used to break lamps on purpose! He's jump up and sit next to one (usually my bedroom lamp) and tap on it until it fell!

Thanks Chris and Diane. Petals will do that. She sees something that she wants to play with, and will push it with her paw till it falls on the floor!

I have a poster by my bed that asks a cat, "what's behind your habit of knocking expensive & fragile figurines to the floor?"
The cat answers, "if the fact that it's in my way isn't enough...we could discuss you taste in knick-knacks."

I am sorry about your GrandMother's lamp.

Sorry to hear about the lamp.

Mine keep trying to convince me that it is for scientific purposes. Gravity is a theory must be proven frequently.

I have this japanese screen that now has claw marks all over it. At first of course i was upset, now I kind of like the looks I see on people's faces when they take a double take!

I used to have a poster of a kitten under a blanket with it's head peeking out, and it said, "Whatever it is, I didn't do it!"

Looks like TTP needs that!

I often wonder that myself. Especially about little miss Ariel!

Sorry to hear about you grandmother's lamp. I hope TTP gave you lots of headbutts and purrs to make up for it.

Are any of them Blue Point Siamese (I am seeking one of those - tho s/he will have to pass inspection by the resident expert aka Yin Yin)?

I am v. sorry to hear about the lamp and even more sorry to hear you will have to part with any of your babies! When I was visiting my folks in Fla over the holidays, (and of course YY was with me!) I heard a loud crash and ventured out to see what had happened - I was in the Fla room wartching TV, my parents were in bed and last I'd checked, YY HAD been asleep. I discovered that YY had managed to knock down (and smash to smitherenes) my mom's fav teapot!! Fortunately, I knew she had another one so I subbed until the next day when I zoomed off in my rental car and under the guise of Christmas shopping, found a duplicate to replace the one I used to replace the original, (tangled web and all that). Bu thankfully, I do not depend on my mom for housing.

I'll take Tiggy and Trixie, they look enough like Gar and Fest that dh probably wouldn't even notice them for a while!

Sorry about the lamp. I've had kids and animals so long, I don't think I have anything left to break! But sometimes they do manage to find something special.

Can you put the pieces in a memory frame, or somehow keep it as a memento?

Hmmm yes, there are a couple of old lamps here, too, that were from Rob's grandparents -- I often wonder how they have survived the feline population this long.
Fortunately the Kitty 500 has a set route that doesn't include the livingroom

Sorry about your grandmother's lamp, Susie!

Now now, I say cats in one corner, Mom in another.

Now cats: It's hot and Mom needs a break...as in peace not as in BREAK something ok? So can you just play with the soft stuff until the summer is over? Ok. Is that asking too much? Mom needs you to meet her half way here. Dad has a big exam coming up etc.

Ok, I am getting all nods (and tiggy is nodding off ) so all will be good, I feel it!
