I did not see this post in time to join in, but I am going to pray for racer before bed. and I will also pass along the word to all my horsey buddies to do the same. Perhaps another group as well, will help this boy along....I know what these souls mean.

At 8:15 p.m. for the first time in three days. Racer made his way unassisted into his stall and began to eat! He did not step gingerly- he did not have his ears back. He was not stepping briskly, but he was walking on his own steam-

For lack of anything else to say as I am overcome by the power of what I witnessed-

Thank you for your help

I haven't done this often, there was an amazing sense of calm and warmth during my prayer...I would love to hear if others felt this?

All the glory does indeed.
I was on my knees next to him for over thirty minutes and when words failed me, hymns were offered. Since he has been sick, when I have sat near him as he lay on his sandpile, he would turn his head away from me. Tonight, while I was praying and my eyes were closed, he put his massive head in my lap and stayed there-

Awesome! I can't tell you how happy that makes me. And I can't begin to imagine the sense of relief you are feeling MA. Small steps, indeed! And we'll just keep bombarding heaven with prayers.

I didn't see this, until now, 10pm Pacific time. I am still praying for his continued and permanent healling. I pray that each day, each hour, you will see improvement and healing.

MA- I know you've been a bit busy lately, but I was just wondering if you have a moment for any kind of update on Racer's condition. He is in my prayers, as are you and Mike in this stressful time.

Oops, sorry, I just saw your other thread. I missed the time, but I will continue to pray for you. It gave me chills to read your update. Thank the Lord, MA! I can only continue to pray that everything will be remedied.

MA, Glad he seems to be better. I wasnlt there the full 30 minutes, but I offered a short prayer for you both. I used to be skeptical, but I have seen what prayer can do, and I will continue to pray for healing and strength for you, Racer, and Mike.

Mary Anne such wonderful news. I don't get chance to post much, but Racer is in my prayers each day. Never think I would forget you

He continues to be good this morning. He is moving on his own, he is eating and even moved out a bit into the pasture a little bit ago.
