I am just furious. They (the officials) have found a facility that houses retired grayhounds until they can be adopted, and they were in small enclosures, with no water, full of fleas and ticks and in feces. A grayhound is a large animal. These had no room to turn around.
I am so angry.
This was found on the South Side of Tucson, just yesterday I believe, and there is a blurb about it in the Arizona Daily Star. In my humble opinion, the owners should be put in the cages for a few days and see how they like it. Don't forget, this has been the 29th day of over 100 degree heat, and it will be breaking a record today because it is supposed to be 112. I jut don't know where people's heads and hearts are.

Yup, you're right - the owners need a taste of the same conditions!!!
