I have a friend that has a siamese like mine. A few months ago he had a bump at the very top of his tale. When I say top i mean starting from the back.Very beginining of the tale. It was like a cycst. Well at the time she said the cat had worms (the ones that look like rice) and had to be treated. She said the knot went away or the cat chewed it off and now where the knot was the cat has a white ring around the tale. Just at that spot where it was all black tale before. She said its been since October but she not seen it anymore and only that one time. Any ideas I may suggest to her.

Thanks

Siamese fur is heat-sensitive so if this little place was in fact a small absess or in some way caused heat, then the fur would lighten there. Give it some time, it may come back in dark, but if it doesn't, check with the vet, have them shave that fur and see what's under there. There may still be a little place under the skin.

Thanks everyone. I will tell her. She does not have a computer yet and I told her about this wonderful sight and she asked if I would try to see whats going on. Everyone has been helpful.

Thanks!
