My Ladybug had her kittens 2 weeks ago. Today, in my friend's garage, we found 4 abandoned stray kittens that look to be about a week older than my 5 kittens. My friend can not keep the kittens as she already has 3 strays that she took into her house.
I decided to bring them home and see if Ladybug would help out with them.
At first, she was so overwhelmed. She did not like them at all. But we let all the kittens snuggle together and get each others scent. Next thing I know, Ladybug was cleaning the strays and even letting 2 of them eat.
Of course, 9 kittens is alot for a mom cat, but 2 of the strays actually ate some gruel so I am not too worried that she will have a hard time.
I am just wondering if anyone has any experience in this field. Is it possible for my cat to raise these kittens as her own? They are absolutely beautiful. Now I have 9 kittens to find loving homes for.
Thanks for your help!
