I am not sure which forum this goes in but thought it was helpful information. I called about getting kittens spayed and neutered at my local vet. I had already paid the rescue society but did not want to give them back as I did not know their vet. They were great they knew I paid once and was willing to pay again so they told me about SNAP. They also told me is not for low income which surprises me because many sites say they are.
SNAP (Spay/Neuter All Pats), helps defray cost and the vet of your choice for to have spaying and neutering done. In my area it only $35.00 per cat. I also read they have a program in some area where they will spay barn cats for $10.00 so please look into if you think you cannot afford to spay/neuter your cat.
