Got my uni results- join my virtual party!

I got my uni results through at last and got a 2:1 !!

As my parents really arent bothered by my success i'm throwing a virtual party here for all my tcs friends!!

so have a drink and pull up a chair

I had such a tough time at uni. my tutor refused to help my with my dissertation as he was 'busy' writing a book. I had a breakdown and had to take a leave of absense and my parents gave me no help or support (except financially, i'll credit them that).

So i'm really pleased with myself. Fell like i'm going to jinx it celebrating, like they'll take it back off me!

ohh i think i'll have a twiglet. mmmmm

might have to compromise and make myself some marmite toast- all this talk of party food is making me hungrey!

Ooo I love marmite on toast! Hold that thought until about 5.30 tonight (when I get home and am able to have some too!)

in the US our results are like percents or letters so I have no idea what a 2:1 is, or how impressive that is.

What is a twiglet?

What is marmite?

There are three or four grades at uni:

1:1 (a first, an A+ or A.)

2:1 ( A or B)

2:2 (B or C)

3 (Third, C or D)
