Who wants to join me???

It's Monday, and the idea of going to work stinks! I want to play hookey! Anyone want to join me? What should we do? Any ideas?

Wish I could have! I spent all last week at home with my new kitties, and leaving them this morning to go to work for a whole 10 hours nearly broke my heart!

If your weather is anything like it is here today...I'd say it's a good day to go to the beach!

Oh pooh. I went to work and really felt like staying in bed all day long!

The best excuse I have use is "bad period pains" and cos my boss is male he is always so sympathetic! (I have only called with that excuse twice in 4 years, not bad!)

*groans* I've been here at the store since last night....no point in leaving now!

Hmm, I am at work already but if I had of played hookey I would have stayed curled up with my hubby in bed. He works nights I work days so I don't get to spend to much time beside him..

I finish work in two hours, but what if we go to the beach to cool off our feet because it's so hot here in the UK

Eeek the trains going to stink tonight

Its awful hot here so if I skipped out of work I would have to go in air conditioned places-like ummmmmm.........shopping!!

well, I've already kinda played hookey - I was planning on getting out job-hunting this morning but here I sit!

Ugh I wish I could have stayed home today. My life is so stressful right now and finally last night I managed to sleep a little and I did NOT want to get up!! But do to family & health emergencies I've left early 4 times in the past month or so which is a huge nono I do have vacation days but we need to schedule them in advance, plus I'm trying to save them for the winter holiday time. blah.

I'm off this week, so got to stay home. It does feel wonderful, doesn't it! We're not going anywhere, just have local plans, so I should be rested, and my house should be cleaner by next Monday!

i am playing hooky today i used the good old...puke excuse lol really i am packing for tommrow.

I would love to play hookie today. Let's face it, with the way today has been running I probably would have gotten more done at home than I'm getting done at work.

We moved to a new building today, and of course my badge (key) doesn't work. My cube is supposed to have a tower in it with filing space and drawers which it lacks right now so I can't unpack. One of the databases that I use is filled up so I can't enter anymore information in it. And I tried something in the cafeteria and let's just say it wasn't the best thing I've ever eaten.

I did get out at lunch to take care of a few things and it's sticky hot so if I played hookie I'd say home and get some stuff done in the air conditioning.

Well I made it through my day, but UGH! What a bore it was! Not enough work to keep me busy and with no internet access anymore, I HATE my job! I have done everything I can think of and there's just so much stuff you can do to look busy! All your plans sounded like so much fun! Susan, did the train smell??

I'm on holidays, i've got lots of homework but I refuse to open my school bag.

Yes it did! It's been worse though, but it's when you get blokes that work on building sites that sweat a lot?!

Eeeek it'll be the same tonight because it's in the 80's here today
