Have you ever been to Ireland? Nope, just am fascinated by the culture and would love to immerse myself in it (I'm a redhead, and claim mainly Irish decent for that reason but really I'm a mutt)


What's the oldest thing in your refridgerator and how old is it? I think the oldest thing in there now is some four-week old yogurt, or perhaps there is some year-old salad dressing. I did remove a couple items dated 1999!!!! just a couple months ago

1. Name the one person in your life you are closest to. That would be my dearest friend Lynn
2. Name 2 things that bug you about the above person. 1) that she's thinner than me, and 2) that she's 2600 miles away from me now!!!!!

3. Name 2 things that you love about the above person. 1) that she's always, always there for me, day or night, near or far, and 2) that she's a fantastic mum to her two young gents, whom I've had the pleasure of knowing since they were toddlers.

4. Name one person from your past whom you no longer have contact with, but wish you did. Why? My best friend from college, Sharon. She helped me thru a difficult time with my ex (our first goegraphical separation) and was a bridesmaid at my wedding. I miss her terribly because she was a tremendous example of faith to me, and very comfortable being alone - she may never marry, but to her, that was OK.

5. Name one person who you know presently who you just wish would go away sometimes. My friend Scott. I love him to death as a friend, and he's been there for me thru a lot of difficult s*it these last couple of years, but he's hopelessly, madly, deeply in love with me, and his parents are already convinced we're going to get married, even though we have never dated.

I'm pretty tidy - probably from living with a rabid dog of a toothbrusher for ten years! (Seriously, his dentist told him to stop using the wire brush on his teeth - he usually had foam halfway up his forearms!!!!!)

17. Do you adjust your bra in public or refrain until you are in private? Why should I be uncomfortable?? If HE can adjust his crotch, SHE can adjust her girls as she pleases!!

18. If you were a man, what would you find the most attractive about yourself? My boobs DUH
19. What do you find, as a woman, most attractive about yourself? My hair, about which I've received many threats (I'll cut it off for myself, if you ever color it/cut it I'll kill you!)

How many furbabies do you have now? Five total, Bella, pretty brown tabby; Pansy, torbi tri-color; Tuxedo (Tuxie), as her name implies-B&W; Shadow, gray tabby; and Midnight, also as she's named, all black.
Do you dye your hair? If so, what color is it now and what was it originally? I was born, am now and will always be a redhead to some degree or another. I have recently started dying it a shade or two redder, but never anything drastic. Most who know me still have to ask if I've had it colored afterward.
What is the worst job you have ever had? I picked strawberries for $2/flat one summer - I lasted about 10 days

Do you have knickknacks that are cats? No knick-knacks - that was Mom's thing, but I do have some more practical items that have cats on them: a coffee mug or two, a fleece blanket.

Have youe ver dressed your cats in clothes? Poor Bandit, yes, I have - and Mom was really really mad!!! The sleep-n-play matched his fur so well, I just had to see it ON him!!!

What didnt you like about being a secretary? I didn't like the fact that in most of my jobs there really wasn't anywhere for me to move up in the company, or time for me to pursue schooling. The jobs themselves were all fairly enjoyable, but low-paying and no room for advancement btw, thanks for the job interview practice - you'll get this question a lot!!

What field of health care do you want to go in? I'm a Pre-Pharmacy major, which means I'm taking all the classes I'll need to apply to and enter a Pharmacy school

WHy did you go to Chile? My mom and I hosted an exchange student my senior year of HS. Her name is Maria Eliana Munoz Arriagada. Mom and I flew to Chile to visit her and her family over Xmas vacation the following year, and we really enjoyed it!! Especially being in the Southern Hemisphere during one of the worst winter storms of the decade!!!!

Actually though, My username is for Elliot, who was really a big orange menace before we got Aerowyn, he would run all over the house for no reason and jump up the walls and really just be crazy.

You want a quick dutch apple pie? Take some graham crackers, crumble them in a bowl (the size you want to eat) add enough melted butter to make it kind of sticking but not soupy. Then press it to the bottom of the bowl, buy one of those applie pie in a can mixes, dump some of it on top, make the topping which is flour, brown sugar, and butter (takes like one minute) sprinkle it on top, and toss it in the microwave for about two minutes, or you can make a bigger batch and put it in a pan and just cook it until the stuff on top is brown/melted. Of course, there is always the home made crust way, but most people dont want to bother withthat. :O Canned dinner rolls work good too, cuz you can stretch em out. its cheap, quick, and satisfying.

Beth (above) and I share an address???? I used to live in the house she occupies now!!

It all started when Beth first joined and posted some pictures of her decorating project. I took a look at her pics and the views out her windows, and said, "I know that shrub!!!" So I PM'd Beth and asked her which part of Ft Campbell she lived in (there are several housing areas). When she told me the same one I used to live in, I asked if her address was XXXX, and she said yes!

So it really is a small world after all!! It was positively bizarre for me to see the pics she posted in "Show us your house!" because I recognized every room, every fixture. Now I know how all those folks on "Moving Up!" on TLC feel when they get to walk thru their old house!

When is the last time you worked on your car? What did you do? The last time I worked on it, I changed the oil. Hopefully that and the filters are all I'll have to do for a couple years.

replace fuel filter- I don't know that my Camry has one.

It will probably cost around $450 to fix. Do you leave a note with your info. Or do you just blow it off cause after all it is just a lil bitty scratch and nobody saw you hit him anyway. It's a scratch. C'mon people, it's JUST a car. I wouldn't feel bad at all about leaving.
