I Can't Believe This!!

It's amazing the kind of evil that exists in this world. I hope those last four puppies make it. I also hope they catch that s.o.b. soon.

Evil, pure evil.

I can't believe the world we live in nowadays. Some people are so heartless and cruel! I hope they find out who did both of these crimes, and may they be punished to the full extent of the law!

I just don't understand it at all. I can't even come to tell you the feeling I get inside when I read these stories. I pray that god above at least takes pain away from these animals when they are being hurt like this. What keeps running through my head is, "These babies don't understand what pain is" how can anyone let them suffer, how can anyone even god himself let these pure animals go through this.

I wish these people could feel the pain that these animals do.

Like in the movie "Powder".. one of the teachers is hunting and shoots a deer but it's still alive. The deer is moving around and he says something like "Oh it's just the nerves dying, she doesn't feel a thing". Then Powder touches the deer and the teacher and lets him feel what the deer is feeling. After that, he wasn't able to hunt again.

I wish these sick individuals could feel the pain and suffering they are causing these innocent animals.

and what makes it even worse, is that these people are so cowardly that they have to do it to something that is not as capable of fighting back...

i saw a video on some website awhile back of a group of teen boys who were feeding a stray dog treats to gain its trust and then one boy came up from nowhere hit it across the head with a 2x4 and then they all started taking turns hitting it, it was awful, after the first hit, it couldnt run anywhere... i think i sobbed for hours...it seriously made my heart hurt, my chest throbbed the rest of the day... and it still makes me cry now

Barking dogs can REALLY drive someone crazy.
Maybe that was the underlying cause of this horrible story, too.

How awful. I hope they catch the perpetrators and send them to jail!

I saw a horrible video when I was about 13 or so. My mom's boyfriend was young and a "bad boy" and he loved heavy metal and you know the type probably. Anyways, he brought home this sick video once that showed some nasty things including what it was really like inside a slaughter house. And then it showed this asian family and there was a little kid playing with some husky puppies in a box, and then the mother came and got one of the puppies and she had a knife and I knew what was going to happen next so I didnt look. But it was really horrible. I dont understand why people do things like that. If a dog is barking ask the owners if they can do something about it! We used to live in a upstairs downstairs duplex, and the guy above had a dog which he left outside, and I could hear it barking four blocks away at my bus stop. Its like, bring the dog inside dummy! Sheesh. My mom's friend's pitbull was poisoned just because he was a pitbull.

The saddest thing about this story is that some of the puppies were going to be donated as rescue dogs. I hope whoever did this feels guilty about that, and that they are caught.

Myself, I would put the person in jail and lace their food with poision, and see how they like living a couple of agonizing days like the dogs did, and then dying.

How horrible! I hope the guilty party is caught and prosecuted. Its not enough though. Those poor dogs! I just can't imagine what they went through. I would be a basket case if they were mine. NO EXCUSE FOR THAT CHIT!

Yeah, they do. But Barking is an OWNER caused problem that should be directed to the owner.
Any dog left outside with no stimulation will likely incorporate alot of nuisance activities, such as barking, whining, digging, etc...
But the person should have had the guts to go to the owners.
I don't know what this case was but I actually do think its also CRUEL to leave a dog outside chained up (not saying that this is what these owners did)

However sad and horrible this is though, my biggest question is WHY did they not bring the dogs inside after the first poisoning or second or ????

Well from personal experience I know what people are capable of.
But just a tip my sis-in law who farms does have rat poison out around they farm and their Dog somehow ate it not once but twice.
The first time they rushed the dog to the vet who saved her. I think they gave them some stuff in case it happened again, which it did.
So depending on the time frame a dog can be saved from death.

Your post made me sick too, and awakened a very awful memory that I have. My neighbors had a sicko son who loved to be mean to animals; set illegal traps, etc. Back in 1985, I had taken in a stray dog who had puppies, and there were 5 that I couldn't place, so I had Animal Control pick up 4 & I kept the 5th, Herman, so that the mom would have at least 1 baby, besides, I don't like to have only one dog, I think that they really need a companion (esp. then because I worked 2 jobs, and my girls were in school all day). Anyway, the neighbor son had asked me for the pups the week before, but I didn't trust his motives and when he saw the AC truck at my house, he came over. He said that he could've shot the pups for me instead of calling AC; this was in front of the ACO, who told us that he had homes on a ranch for 3 of the pups. Then the ACO told my neighbor's son to leave or he'd call out a deputy. The son left, and coincidentally that night, when I came home from work, the pup was sick & died before the vet could get there; the vet said it was more than likely Decon rat poison. My poor, poor little Herman...it was awful, I could hardly hold him in his agony, and the cats kept trying to rub on him & comfort him. The mom wouldn't come near him; I guess she smelled the poison. The dogs were only in the yard long enough to "do their business" that night, but the ACO said that it was more than enough time to be fed a piece of poisoned meat. A deputy questioned the neighbor's son, but there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute....I can't believe this kind of evil still goes on......anyone have any suggestions on how we can help stop it?????

You're right.
What I wonder is..if a loudly barking dog is bothering the neighbors, how can the owners just sit there, perhaps just watching T.V. & ignore it? Why have a dog in the first place?
I'll never forget this sad commercial about this cute little puppy-everyone loved him at first, then they show the cute little puppy all grown up & stuck outside in the freezing cold.
It IS cruel to leave a dog chained outside-I recently read an article in a pet rescue magazine about it. It often leads to nuerotic/agressive behavior. Not to mention that outside chained dogs don't get the care, shelter & love that they deserve, which is the cause of the problems!
Stupid people shouldn't have animals.

I love Powder. I didn't know that was the reason in that scene, I thought Powder was trying to bring the deer back to life but couldn't (using energy from the teacher to give to the deer, or something like that).

I haven't read the article yet, but I have a feeling I don't want to. People suck, pure and simple.
