I gave her treats so she would stay still while I put the Frontline on her. She moved in the middle of the application and it dripped on her foot, she licked it. Will she be ok? I washed her paw now, but she definately got a drop in her mouth. Do I need to take her to ER vet??? OR is there signs I should watch for and then take her if she exhibits them??

whew! Thanks MA. I was freaking out. I tried the number on the Frontline box, but they are closed. I left a message with the answering service at her vets office as well. The only thing I could find online was that it was hazardous to humans if swallowed.

She is doing fine. No drooling or foaming. Thanks again MA, I can relax now.

Susan, I thought for sure there would be info on the package insert or even their website, but I couldn't find anything about them ingesting it. It seems like they would list information about it since I am sure it isn't uncommon.

Really, nothing on the instructions?.

Oh well rest assured Tanya i saw it on mine because i remember seeing it before i gave Rosie the Frontline, then when she licked it and started drooling i had to read it again as i started to flap so theres no need to worry

Just give her some fresh water- dribble some tuna juice in the water to coax her to drink it down-

Sounds like all will be well...take a deep breath and snuggle your girl. I would have felt the same way since when I used advantage I would always worry about them somehow managing to get a lick in!
