I am very, very concerned about Pepper.
A few minutes ago the weirdest thing happened. My bf was going out onto our patio and Pepper was standing in the doorway of the patio door. My bf gave her a gentle nudge (he didn't startle her or hurt her) out so she'd move out onto the patio so he could close the door and when he did a bit of pooh sprayed out of her bum. It was almost like she passed wind wetly (sp?), kind of like a "wet one". It's never happened before, and she's acting totally normal (just like herself) and she hasn't ate anything out of the ordinary (that I know of). It really freaked us out, we can't find a vet that's opened until tomorrow. First thing in the morning I'm gonna get her the earliest appointment I can. Has this happened to anyone's else's cat? Does it seems serious????? I am freaked out and worried I don't know what to do!!!
Can someone please help?!?

Don't freak out - she was probably startled or p.o.'d, and expressed her anal glands (what I call "playing skunk"). Some cats will do that when frightened, or angry. Jamie makes a habit of doing it at the vets', and he actually aims for the face. One Persian owner told me her cat does it every time he's groomed. Keep an eye on her today, but I really doubt that you have anything to worry about.

Agree with jcat. I don't think you need to run to the vet first thing in the morning just for this. Just keep an eye for the next few days. I think it was just a startle response, as jcat described. Nothing to worry about.

Yep, I have a feral that does this when he is annoyed. It really isn't very alarming at all. Now if she continues to drip liquid stool out of her bum on a continuous basis- THAT is an emergency vet visit.

Thanks you guys! You've really helped us. I am calmed down now
...but when it happened I didn't know what was going on, she has never done it before. I will be keeping a close eye on her for the next couple of days she to make sure everything is ok.

Thanks again.

It does sound like anal glands, the only thing I would check is to look under her tail and make sure there are no sores there indicating that she had an impacted anal gland that opened up. Not all cats will act like something is wrong if they have impacted anal glands.
