Okay, after dealing with the loss of a kitten, we now have another issue. Spike gave birth 7-2, and I noticed today that she is having bouts of very, very loose stool. She is eating, drinking, and acting fine, so I don't know if she is ill or if this is a common post partum issue. The kittens are all doing great, cute as can be.

A lot of queens do get a little case of "poopy butt" from eating the placentas.
I had a queen like that... lasted about two weeks, and boy did it REEK!
Anyone ever have the problem, that as long as cats are lactating... their urine doesn't clump well? Topaz (My old stray, now in a new home) and now CJ each have had that problem... boy it's annoying.
