That's a good one! I am constantly amazed by folks who will bid on stuff --- used --- and end up paying more than for new! Maybe that'd be good:

eBay---where you can buy old for more than new!

I mean really, folks, do your research!!!

I love the ones that are auctioned off by bitter men and women, the ones where they claim they've been cheated on, the man lost all their money, or they've just been dumped. I saw one where a woman was selling her cheating husbands sportscar (because it was in HER name and she had the title and registration), for just a couple of bucks! In the info it stated that the person had to be able to pick it up that night, before he got home from work!
There's always a whole bunch like that. Some people are just nuts!

OK, you caught me. Earlier this year I put my 25 year old Revere Ware cookware on e-bay. I sold them piece by piece and actually got more money for them after using them for 25 years than I paid for them in the first place. Granted, they are collector items, but I was still amazed at how much money I made. Used the money to buy a new professional cook set.

I plan on selling off my Hallmark Christmas ornaments later this year. Haven't put up a tree in years and I noticed that they sell like hotcakes on eBay.

eBay---land of opportunity if you know what you are doing!

Actually, I purchased all of my Generation 1 or 1980's My Little Ponies on Ebay. I replaced my entire collection of those old ponies on ebay. I paid a small fortune for all of those old Ponies. I remember when I bought them new, they were about $4.00, but I ended up paying over $50 for some of those old ponies.
I LOVE MLPs!!! Ive been trying to find a bunch of cheap ones on ebay and have found thats hard to do! lol Johns mom has found a bunch at yard sales for me though.

I think you can find bargains on ebay. Not all of it is junk. I sell and buy on ebay. I love buying Partylite (brand new) stuff on ebay, I usually pay half of the book price. It all depends on what you are looking for. Everything I sell are brand new or in mint condition. But I have come across some junk.

What I think is sad and funny are the people who will tattoo a part of their body with whatever the winner wants to advertise. Last night one guy got $1,000 for advertisement on his forehead, with a real tattoo. It is bad people will go that far. Another one is a guy taking revealing pictures of his girlfriend and selling them for 5 - 10 dollars for a set. That is sick.

I've come to the conclusion that I need to stay away from the evil of Ebay. At least the buying side, I'm selling off some stuff that's been sitting around the apartment since I've moved in just to get rid of it though and that's going pretty well. Then again I have tried selling burnt toast yet....ah the ideas.

Does anyone remember the wedding dress that sold for a CRAZY amount of money a couple of years ago?

I love ebay. But I do not get caught up in it. I usually know what I want to buy and how much it goes for in stores here. Cell phone accessories are usually great deals on ebay. I also bought stickers for my truck that say "Got Ocicat?" "Got Egyptian Mau?" and "Got Bengal". Also a license plate frame that say "My Bengal cat is smarter than your honor student."

Some stuff you just can't find in stores
