Half the time when people talk about ebay it's because of some strange piece of junk that someone was trying to auction or some strange piece of junk that sold for tons of cash. I use ebay, but there are a lot of stupid people who use it too. I could think of a couple of appropriate taglines.

9 out of 10 fools agree... ebay.com is the best place to spend their money.

ebay.com... the number one place to buy overpriced junk in the entire universe!

Can you think of any?

I enjoy watching Jay Leno's ebay portion in his show. I couldn't believe how many people get fooled into buying junk.
Makes me think ebay is exclusively for the brainless!

I still think the funniest one I ever saw that sold on ebay was an autographed picture of Jesus!

I like those countless taglines of seeing the Virgin Mary on pieces of toast and trying to sell them to unwitting customers... I constantly think are people that easily fooled?

The weirdest ebay-thing for me was the baseball sold by a mother with her kids autograhps. Cant remember what it went for but I think it was in the $1000-range

ive banned my self from ebay last year when i just opened my account as i turned 18 i couldnt stop bidding, it really became like a drug and i would get so pissed when i lost something, then i saw all of the money i saved go down the drain and thats when i woke up i had to stop looking at ebay.
With that money i should have invested into better things.

I remember the auction where the seller said he had captired a ghost in a bottle, and was selling it off on ebay.

Actually, I purchased all of my Generation 1 or 1980's My Little Ponies on Ebay. I replaced my entire collection of those old ponies on ebay. I paid a small fortune for all of those old Ponies. I remember when I bought them new, they were about $4.00, but I ended up paying over $50 for some of those old ponies.

Wow. I know there are useless or unbelieveable things being sold on Ebay, but really, afterlife protection or an autographed picture of Jesus? Hhmm...I do wonder if anyone would be interested in bidding on additional 9 lives for cats!!

Here's a possible tagline:
Ebay. Where people bid on items and win them at higher prices than what they could pay at their local store!!
