I am taking my cat to the vet on Monday, but I need some advice now. My three year old male cat was laying on the floor with what appears to be water dripping from his anus. I have found similair wet spots around the house for the past couple of days. It isn't urine. He has been deficating outside his box (very unusual). I am so worried. Any advice?

Mirah, my twelve week old kitty, was doing the same. I took her to the vet, and he did a fecal, and though it didn't show anything, he said it's probably intestinal parasites.... he dewormed her, and gave her some antibiotics with vitamins... cleared it right up.

If you cat is losing urine, do NOT wait till Monday for a vet. Find a vet and find one quickly-

Does it have an odor? It sounds like his anal glands may be blocked or have some sort of issue causing them to leak. If it is fluid from the anal glands, it will have a very foul smell. He will need to see a vet right away or they could become impacted (which is much more difficult to treat).
