Well, today my kitty Boy passed away. I just noticed recently that he hasn't been feeling too well. He hasn't ate or drank anything. I took him to the vet today. I was told that he was anemic and he was given tests to see if he could be from either leukemia or kidney failure. Thankfully they both came back negative. He was going to stay in the hospital since he was severely dehydrated and anemic. The doctor left and when she came back he had passed away. I miss him so much and I haven't stopped crying. He was such a good cat. Whined a lot but he was such a sweetie. I miss you and love you, Boy!

Im so sorry for your loss.
I think the easiest way to get through these tough first few days is to just remember your happy moments with your baby. And then......

~RIP~ BOY

Godspeed, Boy - let love carry your angel wings over the Bridge! What a shock to lose your kitty so suddenly. They are so good (too good, sometimes) at masking any illness and it's too late by the time their problems become obvious. You did what you could, and it is so sad that your time with Boy was cut short.
Please feel free to PM me if you want; I've been there far too many times. I lost my Miss Tobie last fall, and I picked out a tune on the piano & wrote a few words to express my sorrow; I'd play & sing it over & over. It did help, because after she was gone, the other cats seemed so needy, when all I wanted to do was grieve. Remember, Boy has gone on to his reward, and someday you will get to be with him again - think how happy he'll be, tail up, ears pricked foward as he comes bounding to meet you over RB!!

I'm so sorry for your loss of Kitty Boy. They hide their illnesses from us much too well! I do hope you had a long and happy life together. May your memories comfort you now.

I am very sorry for your loss of Boy. It is so difficult not to be sure of what happened, and we are all good at trying to second guess ourselves. Sometimes they just hide an illness until it is too late. Condolences!

So sorry to hear of your loss, it is worse when it is unexpected. At least he is free from pain and suffering and will be waiting at the Bridge for you.

Hi. I have 3 other cats. They've been giving me lots of loving. No, I go to school around the Charleston area.
