Is there any chance that you have roach poison out, or sprayed poison lately? My dog used to do that too, and turned out it was because he was eating poisoned roaches. He was fine, we just had to be careful after that, and stop him from eating bugs.

I think that's an excellent point about the roaches, I wouldn't be worried re the fly eating

My kitten is a great fly catcher
and eats flies quite a lot, I dont think it has caused him any harm though so I wouldnt worry.

That's probably what it is... probably just got a hold of a poison bug.
Wouldn't worry about it, just don't let her eat them anymore if you can stop it.

Thank you for this post. Cissa puked all day yesterday, and didn't eat. I was so worried. So many things had happened all at once and I felt horrid. She appears fine today.

The bug guy sprayed, my cats love to eat bugs. I was in the process of changing foods. She had her flea meds, AND I had tried the "homemade" water filters for my cat fountain......ugh, I had no clue what made her so sick...though I tended towards the bug poison.

What is the best way to deal with this issue? I live in the deep south, we have bugs, and we need to spray.
