Rash

My mom's cat Simmie is a 14 year old white short hair. Every summer she gets a terrible rash on her face, legs and tummy. It's all red and bumpy and very itchy . She is on medication for this and every once in a while a shot of steriods to help....anyone else had this problem and have any ideas as to what the cause could be?? (already ruled out fleas)

Does she go outside?

I was just given a list of environmental allergens from my vet. I will email or private message you a copy if you want. I'm just to lazy to type the whole thing.

That would be great!. She does go outside, and her allergy seems to be worse in the spring/summer months.

Have they done a skin scraping on her? That would be the first thing. If it is seasonal, then just like with us, it is an allergy to something probably airborn and only evident during certain times of the year..
