Senior Cats Web Site

Hi everyone!

I (with a great deal of help) am putting together a web site for senior cats in need of adoption. These cats are located in shelters throughout the US.

We are hoping to get word out to as many people as possible about the site, in hopes that someone with either adopt one (or more) of the cats, or help us find someone who can.

How old are the cats you're talking about? I think it's a great idea. Those cats need good homes and people need to realize what wonderful companions they can make!

We are saying senior is anything eight years or older. Probably on the lighter side of "senior", but it is certainly an age where it is difficult, if not impossible, to get adopted.

We are still in the construction phase, but already have a couple of articles on adopting senior cats and are working on getting more content.

SugarCats - I like your Senior Cats website. I think it will be great when it gets going (with more cats)! Since the cats are from all around the country, maybe their location (town, state) could be displayed with their description. .... Interesting thing... I looked at all of the cats and "Sugar" if from the town where I grew up (450 miles away from where I am now). How weird! I am going to check back frequently because my fiance's parents are looking for an adult cat to adopt!

I just uploaded a new page, so there are now 18 cats on the site! Slowly we are getting there. Now we just need a success story to celebrate.
