The books are great, although I haven't read them since I was a kid. They were my brother and my favorite stories! If you ever get the chance, read them- otherwise the movie looks really good.

I loved those books when I was younger (before I realised they were Christian books)! And I played Susan in a community theatre production of 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' when I was 14, that was so much fun. Not sure I'll see the movies, however, as knowing now as an adult about the Christian themes puts me off.

I about fell through the floor when I saw the first trailer being shown on TV one night. I had to explain to my 8 yr old daughter what this movie will mean to me!!! I LOVED the books and was totally fascinated by them. I will be there front and center on opening day when Narnia comes out!

Between that and the film version of "Rent", there are definitely some movies to look forward to....

Never bothered me particularly, and it's very probable that fundamentalist Christians will have huge problems with the mythological creatures. I mean, a faun? Minotaurs? Still gonna be fun

Fundamentalist Christians already have a huge problem with CS Lewis, so I can guarentee they'll have a problem with this movie series!

Oh, I was so excited too! My kids never got into the books as much as I did, and I think one of the movies scared my daughter when she was young (the witch, I think.) But it comes out around my birthday, so it'll be my present to myself!!
