i currently have two freeflow water fountains that are 3 months old and the water flow has slow down significantly, one barely flows even the flow lever is at maximum, i really don't want to buy the same one, is there any water fountain that is reliable?, thanks

First have you taken then apart and cleaned them thouroughly - hair from the kitties can clogg them. Pluse the filter needs to be replaced - I have noticed that when it's time athe flow rate changes.

I personally have the Petmate and love it but YOU DO NEED TO TAKE IT APART ON A WEEKLY BASIS to clean it!! However I also had the drinkwell fountain and had to the same.

What kind do you have? and I would still use the filter because it keep hair and dirt from being recycled through. I know with the petmate one you need to take apart the pump too (it breaks down into 4 pieces) and clean it thoroughly.

Do you clean the pump? You need to clean the pump. Take it apart and clean it.
