I'm new (as in, just registered 3 minutes ago), so I don't really know how to go about asking for advice...so I'm just going to do it. I have a 7 year old cat with some sort of 'lesion' on his fur, near the base of his tail. There is blood on the fur around it, but the area itself is round and pink-peach, like the color of his skin. I thought he might have scratched out the fur himself, or maybe my other cat did it to him, but the 'lesion' seems to be too round for the cats to have created it. It looks sort of lump, as if its not so much a bald patch but something on his fur. I have no idea what it is or what to do...I've been researching feline illnesses and I'm not sure if any, or if all, of them fit him. I made an appointment with the vet for Saturday but I'm still really worried. Tigger tends to throw up a lot, but we all assumed it was because he has long fur and sheds like crazy, and most of the vomit is hairballs. But now, in light of this thing on him, I wonder if maybe the vomiting is due to something more serious.

Can anyone help me?
