My housemate's brother just called from London, but I didn't ask him if he was ok
Now I can't get through to him because of the networks! I can't even get hold of my housemate to let him know that i've heard from his brother!

I'm thinking of you all, down there in London!
I feel a bit better now I have had a few cigarettes!!!!!

The tube will be shut all day and won't open until 5.30 in the morning. I think I will have to stay in the office tonight but get home first thing and stay there tomorrow and possibly Monday. We have had instructions from our bosses and because of all the travel and stuff ppl might be told to stay away from London... I dunno *sigh*

I got lunch ages ago, but can't face eating it - that's a first!!!!

You've got a nicotine rush now?! Hope you've got enough if you're staying over night!

I think you would deserve to stay away from the City Centre after all this! It is so horrible that you have to be there during this!

Sue, that's great news - thinking of everyone else trying to track down friends, family and others right now. Gilly, get yourself plenty of chocolate, take care of yourself and

Just spent two hours glued to BBC World. There still seems to be horrible confusion over how many explosions - it may be that there were only four on the underground, but people thought it was 6 because two were on trains between stations, and victims were evacuated from all places. Stay tight those in the centre - London has been through worse, and the emergency plan seems to be working well. It was good to see Blair and the other leaders all behind him, condemning it. I have emailed my family and friends and have heard from most - though my brother is somewhere in the middle of it all. He rarely uses the tube, though, usually preferring a motorbike, so I hope he is safe. Good luck everyone who is there.
