I don't even know what to say. London is such a great city and my heart goes out to everyone that was affected. I'm glad that everyone on here is ok!! Speaking from experience, try not to let yourself get paranoid though and just go about doing things as normally as possible.

I'm home!

We thought there was only police at our main train station which is the main line to London, but when i got to mine near the office there were police all over watching people going through the barriers.

Because of this the trains were late, so i got home later than normal.

I've been texting Gilly on the way and she was in the process of walking home was going to take her approx 3 hours!, but she sent me a text later to say a friend had picked her up en route so at least she'll get home ok!

She said the traffic was bad but at least she's on her way home.

I've watched a bit of the news and it's so awful

Candie so pleased to hear he's safe!

My heart goes out to all of you in London and to all who have loved ones in the city.
Have you got the emergency number that you could ring?

I got home from class and sat down with my lunch and turned on the tv... I felt sick

Such a stupid, stupid thing. My mother and I travelled some of the same lines on holiday in december - I have no respect for any cause that employs such disgusting tactics. What the hell were they trying to achieve striking at ordinary people??? It just creates more hate - and more support for trigger-happy retalliation.

I dont know whats wrong with me - I feel like crying today. Maybe I just cant stand the thought of my poor sweet mum being on one of those trains or maybe its just all the ugliness and pain that should never have happened.

CNN just reported over 700 injured.

Muslims aren't at fault - crazy people are at fault. The Muslims I know are kind friendly, and would not dream of hurting anyone. They are just like the vast majority of my friends - nice.

Ditto... I hope this doesnt cause some sort of stupid backlash of violence towards any one group. (I dont think it has been confirmed who caused this yet...) Unfortunatly with such a horrible event, many angry people are looking for an outlet - this all to often falls upon innocent muslims who have nothing to do with the radicals who commit these terrible acts.

OMG! I just logged on and am extremely relieved to see that everyone is okay. Thank goodness. Makes me feel helpless being all the way over here in the states and not being able to offer my help to you all, but do know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. They just raised the alert level over here to orange for all mass transit. Not sure if orange is second or third highest alert. I think it's second. Do stay safe everyone (all over the world.)

You're just scared right now. Remember your values-all people are equal. And you can't tell by looking at someone if they are muslim or not! And what if the one muslim you say something nasty to is a very peaceful muslim who just can't speak out due to fear of backlash from the evil ones? Or is working for world peace within the confines of their religion?

Stay safe, and feel free to post your feelings. But work on acceptance of all colors and all religious beliefs.

you're so sweet. We were keeping up with it during breaks, but I was in the middle of nowhere in a conference centre.

I know what your saying, and i wouldn't say anything to them because of who they are, but since 9/11 it's made a lot of people " cautious " when you see one on a train, or in a shopping mall, more so if theres two or three of them together?!.

And as for world peace?, like i said today, IMO world peace will be when hell freezes over

I agree, Susan. This world will never be at peace. There will always be conflict somewhere. I mean, if you think about it, this world has NEVER been at peace. I hope that one day, we can smoke these terrorist rats out of their holes.

It's sad that the bad muslims have given the good muslims and Islam as a whole such a bad reputation. How do these terrorists ever expect the world to respect their values and beliefs when they do nothing but bash about with bombs and murder? Some values!!!!!
I feel bad for the good muslims because many people associate them with these monsters.

I'm sending prayers & good vibes to the good people of London, and the rest of England as they endure this TERRIBLE day. What are the rest of you TCS'rs sending? I've seen the board magic work so well before, I sure hope it helps the injured & the survivors of this awful (understatement) attack. Friends, families, pets, neighbors
...so many will be so horribly impacted and my prayers are for their comfort, strength & healing as well.Well,
if the terrorist group wanted to get more Americans' resolve TO CONTINUE the war in Iraq, they found a great way to do it.
attacking America's friends But, I'm trying to focus on positive things, to keep my good vibes strong. A big thank you to Gilly, and our other UK TCS family, for keeping so strong, calm & courageous & for keeping us posted on their condition. WE LOVE YOU & WILL BE THERE FOR YOU, TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITIES!!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Thank God for you TCS members!

London is 3 1/2 hours from me by train, and thankfully this isn't half as bad as 9/11, but it suddenly hits home!

A guy on the news tonight said how people say it's like a film, but he said it's nothing like a film, it's worse when it happens in real life
